IPAC is the Independent Publishers Association of Canada. Our organization helps authors and small publishers get their books to print and in the hands of appreciative readers. Our members include: Novices Writers Editors Marketers Publishers Speakers All of whom have a passion for publishing and are eager to learn from one another and to share their own experiences and insights.
The pen is deadlier than the sword, and crime/mystery fiction is the most fun kind to write. Here's a handy place to swap news related to crime and mystery writing for all levels of skill and interest: author appearances, writing workshops, book clubs, coffee meets, and any local, regional, or national events that might interest Calgary crime writers and crime readers.
This is a critique group for novel writers who are serious about trying to publish via traditional routes. You will be expected to provide written copies of your work, to write written critiques for other writers, and to attend meetings. In return, we'll help you learn to write marketable fiction -- though the work is, of course, up to you.
