Girlfriends Book Club (GBC) is not only a book club but a sorority of some sort. Founded in 2004, Girlfriends Book Club has branched out to form a total of 3 chapters, including the Raleigh chapter. Not only do our members have a passion for reading, but they also have a place in their heart for volunteer activities, fundraisers and Black History awareness.

There are many book clubs. This group reads literary classics...books that have stood the test of time. So we'll never read the hot new thing...we'll read books that are 10-10,000 years old but are still in print.
